Hurricane Irene Redux in the Neighborhood

Picking up the residue, mostly disintegrating cardboard boxes. Love the umbrella.

When I waded in I made it up to above my knee, the water a cool mix of fresh and salt.
He’s probably at its deepest.
An atmosphere of hushed play.
Nice to see the world change, as long as it’s not too much.
